Is Get Ahead Gifts really free?

Yes. The reminder service is free while we're in beta — save unlimited people, get email reminders weeks ahead of every birthday and big day, and browse curated gift ideas. No card required to sign up.

How do the reminders work?

Add the people who matter and their birthday (or any date — anniversary, Mother's Day, etc.). We'll email you a gentle heads-up at the lead time you choose — by default 21, 14, and 3 days before. You can change or pause any reminder at any time.

Where do the gift ideas come from?

We curate ideas from trusted Australian retailers — gift hampers, experiences, brands we'd buy for our own families. We tag each suggestion by age, interest and budget so the right ideas surface for the right person.

Do you ship the gifts?

We don't ship directly. Get Ahead Gifts links you straight to the retailer who stocks each gift — they handle checkout, shipping and returns. That keeps prices honest and delivery local.

Do you make money if I buy through your links?

Sometimes. When you buy through certain partner links we may earn a small affiliate commission — at no extra cost to you. It helps us keep reminders free. See our Affiliate Disclosure for the full detail.

Will my data be shared?

No. The people you save, the dates you add and your email are used only to power your reminders. We don't sell data and we don't share it with retailers. See our Privacy policy.

Is there an app?

A mobile app with push notifications is on the roadmap. For now everything works in the browser on phone, tablet and desktop — and reminders arrive by email so you never miss one.

Can I invite family to share lists?

Yes. Connect with family or friends so you can share gift ideas, avoid doubling up, and quietly coordinate. They only see what you choose to share.
